IMAX Expo City 109 Cinemas in Osaka

109 Cinemas chain opened the 11-screen Osaka Expocity Cinema located at the Expocity commercial facility in Suita City on November 19, 2015. It originally had a capacity of 1,884 seats but for some strange reason it downgraded to 1,721 seats a few years later.

Despite the 4DX installation inside the 52-seat Screen 4, the Osaka Expocity also was one out of nine theaters from the 109 Cinemas chain to feature the installation of IMAX (located inside the 358-seat Screen 11).
