Act III took over the theater on April 30, 1989. However, United Artists originally planned to take over the theater by June 5, 1988 but was immediately scrapped by Luxury before the deadline that April.
I worked here during much of 1994. I regret not taking any photographs or snooping around more to ascertain the venue’s history.
