The Cabaret Picture Show opened its doors as a $1 house on December 30, 1983 with “The Big Chill”, featuring a capacity of 300 seats and vintage movie star photos in the lobby. The theater featured a mix of both first-run and classic features. This came right after the Carib Theatre became a dollar-house which lasted until its closure in 1984.

The Cabaret Picture Show closed for the final time on August 24, 1987 with “Harry And The Hendersons”.

Current function should be Church.

This theater has since been occupied by dozens of other businesses. It was an Aaron’s Appliance Store around the late 00s/early 10s. Then it was a sports store. But since 2017, it’s been occupied by “Bldg 28 Church”.
