The Cinema Modernissimo was opened in 1921. It was modernised in in 1984 and 1987 to the plans of architect Adolfo Natalini and renamed Cinema La Compagnia. Seating is provided on a steeply stepped slope. The cinema is operated and owned by an all-female management. There is also a bar for the convenience of patrons.
