Located in the Casa das Artes (House of Arts), the Cineclube do Porto is operated by the Government. It was built in 1991 to the plans of architect Eduardo Souto de Moura. Since May 2012 the building has been classified as a monument of public interest, being assigned to the Public Institute of Cultural Heritage.
Cineclube do Porto is in charge of the cinema programme with sessions every Thursday night and Saturday afternoon.
