Princess Theatre

The 285-seat Princess Theater was opened sometime between 1911 and 1918, and was almost certainly built as a theater. Maps show the original structure to be a simple stone building of one story, with a tin front.

Between 1928 and 1937, the theater was remodeled, going from 16 feet tall to 22. This allowed a balcony to be added and the seating capacity was increased to 385-seats. The building was also extended to the rear.

The Princess Theater must have been closed by 1950, when Western Auto moved into this space. After taking over this building and the one next door to the west, the facade and interior were demolished.
