The 1959 Motion Picture Almanac included the Bay Road Drive-In under Halifax, owned by M. E. Walker Co.
Boxoffice reported in its March 23, 1970 issue that Famous Players Canadian Corp. had purchased the Franklin and Herschorn circuit. One of the theaters was the Bay Road Drive-In in Halifax.
The 1976 Canadian Film Digest included the Bay Road Drive-In, capacity 250 cars, owner Famous Players Ltd.
