The Masonic Temple is listed on Sanborn Maps 1916 and 1929 at Linden Avenue and 9th Street, and labeled as a skating rink, moving picture house and lodge hall.

The Carpinteria Valley Museum of History notes the building dates back to 1913 and was the Masonic Temple from 1914 to 1964.

Today the restored building most recently was the now closed Senor Frog’s restaurant.

A photo is in the book Greater Carpinteria, Summerland and La Conchita.
