Located in the south London district of Clapham Junction. The Bolingbroke Hall was opened as a picture theatre named Slotland on October 6 1907. It was operated by Frank Ogden Smith. and had 370-seats in the stalls and 30-seats in the gallery. Entrance was via a 55ft long corridor leading from the road.

It was granted a Cinematograph Licence on January 1, 1910 and was renamed Bio-Picture Palace. The seating capacity had been increased to 600-seats.

It had closed by 1914.
