The original General Cinema Ford City Cinema 1 and 2 opened May 27, 1966 with Jason Robards in “A Thousand Clowns” and Jack Lemmon in “The Great Race”. Closed on August 9, 1990 the day before the GCC Ford City 14 opened(it has its own page on Cinema Treasures).
