The TOHO Cinemas Kisogawa was the first movie theater to operate in Ichinomiya City since the April 8, 1990 closure of the Ichinomiya Toei Theater (opened in August 1955).
The TOHO Cinemas Kisogawa opened its doors on June 18, 2004 featuring ten screens with a total capacity of 1,824 seats and 21 wheelchairs (two in each auditorium except Screen 5. Screen 5 housed three wheelchairs).
Screen 5 is the largest with 381 seats, and Screens 1 and 7 are the smallest with 93 seats. The rest of the auditoriums have ranging capacities of 104-313.
