This theatre appears on the September 1913 Sanborn. It was located in the southern half of a two story brick building which dates to sometime before 1885. The 1908 map shows a furniture store here, with a hall above.
At least during the early years, this was a storefront operation, with the telephone exchange upstairs. Note that the extension in the rear facing Merchants Alley was at least initially only a storeroom, and not part of the auditorium. The Gordon Theatre is still listed in the 1914-15 American Motion Picture Directory. It may have been renamed and eventually become the Gem Theatre, or that may have been elsewhere.
The building today is in excellent shape, and this space appears to be part of a cafe which uses the 208 address.
