The T-Joy Yokohama opened its doors on June 24, 2020 with nine screens and 1,230 seats with 18 wheelchairs (two in each auditorium), and was located on the 8th and 10th floors of the JR Yokohama Tower.

This theater was the first in Kanagawa Prefecture to have a Dolby Cinema auditorium inside its largest auditorium, Screen 4 with 325 seats, as well as the first newly established Dolby Cinema in all of Japan. The rest of the auditoriums have ranging capacities of 63-201.
