Located to the west of Schweinfurt. The Conn Barracks installation was constructed during 1936-37 under the original name Flugplatz Schweinfurt. The U.S. Army took over in 1945 as Schweinfurt Air Base and in 1947 re-designated as Conn Barracks (in honor of Orville B. Conn, Jr.). Closed in 2013, and in 2014 the base was returned to the German government.
Was operated by the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES). It has been renamed BAMF Aussenstelle Schweinfurt.
