The Lodi Historical Society notes the Leisure Hour Theatre opened on May 10, 1910, in the basement of the Madison Building, also known as the Imperial Hotel. The theatre showed four reels of film at an evening performance, children 5c adults 10c.
The building still there and is being used as shops on the ground floor and hotel rooms on the top two floors.
