In 1907 Oscar Nicholson opened the Dream Theater as the northernmost tenant of a new, 3-tenant building. Mr. Nicholson sold the theater in 1915 or 1916 to C.E. Swanson. Mr. Swanson upgraded the equipment, replace the “canned” music with a piano and hired a pianist to accompany the films.

The last mention of the Dream Theatre in local newspapers was a community meeting in January 1919.

The building was later converted to other uses. After a fire in 1970 it was torn down.
