Theatre Tulane

The Theatre Tulane opened August 9, 1913, showing licensed association pictures to two packed houses. The theater was located next to the Masonic Temple.

The Imperial Valley Press noted the theater was owned by Roy L. Rumsey, who said the cooling system would maintain a temperature of eighty degrees. The cooling system actually used ice, blown by fans.

The Theatre Tulane, also advertised as the Tulane Theatre dropped out of the news in December 1928.

The site of the Theatre Tulane is now the parking lot for the Masonic Temple.
