Orpheum Theatre

Constructed sometime between 1906 and 1913, this large early theatre consisted of a simple one story wooden structure leading to a two story brick auditorium which contained a stage for vaudeville acts, and a balcony.

This theatre remained in operation until about 1914-15. It is listed in that year’s AMPD, but so is a Star Theatre with the same address, which may have been located in a large Odd Fellows hall constructed around that time on the site of the Orpheum Theatre.
