Eden

Located in La Souterraine in central France. Already in operation in the 1960’s, the Eden cinema had a 400-seat auditorium at the time. Long managed by a parish association, the establishment became the property of the city in 1991, which then entrusted its management to the local MJC for 30 years.

Today, the municipality has taken over the operation of the cinema. The auditorium was completely renovated in 2020 and can now seat 173 spectators.

Classified as an “Art et Essai” cinema and labeled “Jeune Public” (Young Audience), the cinema offers a varied program throughout the year, ranging from blockbusters and big hits to independent films, as well as classic French and foreign films in their original versions.
