Warner Mycal Cinemas Higashi Kishiwada

The Warner Mycal Cinemas Higashi Kishiwada opened its doors on April 29, 1993 featuring eight screens and 1,971 seats as the second ever multiplex movie theater to open in Japan, with the first one being in Ebina which opened five days before the Kishiwada, also by Warner.

The Warner Mycal Cinemas Higashi Kishiwada is also the first ever multiplex in Japan to close without a successor theater, closing on February 3, 2008 because of aging facilities. The building was demolished afterward and the Katsuragi Hospital occupied the former site, which had relocated from a previous location.
