Located in Melun, to the southeast of Paris in the Vale de Seine region. The Varietes was opened in 1977. In August 2025 it was announced that the Varietes would be closing and the business transferred to a new purpose built 4-screen cinema in another part of the town at 4 Rue de l'Eperon.
