The 400-seat Ager Theatre was opened by 1928. The building has the ‘The Ager’ inscribed in stone on the facade. By 1931 it had been renamed American Theatre. It was still open in 1957.
By 2008 it was housing a hamburger restaurant named JAX which was still open in 2025.
