Theater

This theater was located in a narrow and deep two-story wooden storefront that dated to before 1886. The 1904 map shows a furniture store here, but the theater was operating by November 1911. It is noted as a ‘Cheap Theatre’ on this map, possibly a nickelodeon.

This theater was likely closed when the much larger Crystal Theater opened across the street around 1914. The 1917 map shows the building vacant.

Later maps are not available online, but this building was demolished many years ago. The building on the site is a cinderblock garage of indeterminate age.
