The Narita Humax Cinemas opened its doors with eight screens in March 2002. A ninth screen (an IMAX digital theater) was added on May 25, 2012, followed by a tenth screen known as the “Futarium” being added on April 21, 2017. In total, the theater has 10 screens and 2,155 seats.
Its IMAX auditorium (or Screen 9) is the largest with 471 seats, with the largest normal auditorium being Screen 1 with 405 seats. Screen 10, the “Futarium” auditorium, is the smallest with 82 seats, and the rest of the auditoriums have ranging capacities of 124-265.
