Lyric Theatre

Opened by 1911, when it was bought by A. A. Moulder, the Lyric Theatre appeared on an April, 1911 Sanborn map as a moving picture house, one of three on its block, but it also had a small stage and scenery for live performances. The Lyric Theatre also had a small balcony.

After successfully operating the Lyric Theatre for some time, Moulder and his father had a new, larger theater built across the street, the Empress Theatre. They operated both houses for a time, but sold the Lyric Theatre in May, 1915. The following month the Lyric Theatre was entirely destroyed by fire.
