The 1955-56 Theatre Catalog included the Dogwood, owner J. Wood Fain, capacity 350 cars.

The Motion Picture Almanac listed the Dogwood Drive-Inthrough its 1976 edition. When the MPA refreshed its drive-in list for 1977, the DogwoodDrive-In was gone.

A classified advertisement listing a house for sale indicated it was off Highway 69 beside the Dogwood Drive-In. A 1952 aerial photo showed a drive-in about two miles south of Woodville on US 69. The drive-in was intact in 1982 but completely gone by 1995. A truck repair shop occupies the site today.
