Built in 1930 and owned by the next-door Catholic church of Saint Leon, this theatre was operated by the church staff as a cine club between 1930 and 1960 with 16mm prints.
The building has not been altered at all and is a perfect sample of what neigbourhood movie theatres in Paris in the 1930’s were like.
