New Orpheum Theatre

This theater appears on the 1912 Sanborn. It was a large one story brick building located at the southeast corner of the intersection with Hunts Alley. It replaced a substantial livery shown on the 1904 map.

This theater is listed in the 1914-15 AMPD, but it had closed by 1921, when the map shows it modified and incorporated into a large auto dealership and garage. The whole complex was demolished many years ago, and the site is occupied by a fire station and parking lot.
