There’s not a lot of information about this theatre rather than it was operated by the husband-and-wife team of Mr. and Mrs. Josh Wimberly.
On February 23, 1948, a total of 35 patrons escaped injury after a projection fire damaged the theatre. The fire happened during an unidentified movie, which I cannot find the title. The Twiggs Theatre was back in action by 1950.
