Located in the Wedding district to the north of the city centre. Housed in an industrial complex built in 1870. The Sinema Transtopia is an ‘alternative’ cinema screening independent, foreign and recent first-run films, projected on 16mm & 35mm projectors. It was opened on 14th January 2023 following an earlier experimental space in Haus der Statistik, Alexander Platz from September 2020. It is LGBTQ+ friendly. It operates Wednesday through Sunday evenings. There is a licenced bar and food is available.
