The Shadowland Theatre operated as early as 1920, and was renamed the Pal Theatre on July 29, 1935 after it was sold to Mitchell F. Brice of Vidalia.

It was closed on December 12, 1936 with Dick Foran in “California Mail” along with a few unnamed comedies when the newer Pal Theatre opened nearby two days later, which has its own Cinema Treasures page.
