Rabbit Lake Drive-In

The Rabbit Lake Drive-In opened its gates by original owner Bill McIntosh on July 18, 1953 with John Payne in “Raiders of the Seven Seas” (unknown if extras added). During the 1960’s, the drive-in added an adjacent restaurant, an 18-hole miniature golf course, a penny arcade, and a family playground for extra entertainment.

McIntosh operated the Rabbit Lake Drive-In for nearly three decades from its start until the early-1980’s when it was taken over by the Rattai family, who would eventually take over the Paramount Theatre (later Century Cinema) in 1982. The Rabbit Lake Drive-In closed after the 1986 season.
