Located in the Madureira district to the north west of the city. The Cine Coliseu was opened on 14th December 1938. It was also equipped with a stage for concerts and live shows as well as films. It was closed on 3rd September 1972.
By 2010 the beautiful facade of the building had been covered with plain cladding and the former cinema was in retail use, which continues in 2026.
