The Oak Drive-In was opened prior to 1955. It hung on until the late-1960’s by showing adult films as the Oak XXX Theatre. It was on the north side of Coleman.

The Oak Drive-in was owned at one time by R.G.Dumas who also owned the COLEANNA Drive-in in that city.
This one was on Mt. View Road (US 84) just west of US 283. A building occupies about half of the lot, but a faint outline of the theater is visible in the other half.
A closer address, at least for Google Maps, is 3300 US-84, Coleman, TX 76834.
This marks the location of Coleman County Electric Cooperative which occupies about half of where the drive-in once stood. To the east of the building, you can still see the ramps.

The foundation of the ticket booth is still there as of November 2020.
