We always found the video to be hilarious when watching it after a few too many! Now, after all these years, it’s more about the nostalgic trip down memory lane. There is a lot more footage that I will be posting on YouTube whenever I find the time, and I assure you, comedy does ensue…so stay tuned…
We understand,Here is a quote a friend said about me,“Mike was very good to work with.Everybody worked. The Theatre business was good because you worked for thirty minutes, that was when the show started and the crowd got in.And Mike was good for the other hour and a half while thee show was running” from Tommy Capers,Assistant Manager at National Hills,Imperial, and Columbia 1 and 2 Theatres in Augusta,Ga.He said that during a 1985 theatre reunion party we held after all of us being out of the business for almost ten years.I have that on DVD now.
We sure did. I can honestly say, after all these years, I still consider it the best job I ever had. Even though we were earning minimum wage. But then again, if you factor in all the googing off we did, we were probably grossly OVERPAID!!!
Fun times – spent many a summer as a patron of the Colonial, right around 1993 (nice seeing Dennis The Mennis in one clip on the big screen downstairs, I probably saw it there with my grandma one summer afternoon).

Not to be mean, but when does the hilarity start in all those clips?

Did I say googing off? I meant to say goofing off!

Good point! Instead of cleaning up the place, we were busy making a video!
Just maybe the reason the “Colonial” closed.:–)
