There is a mention of Cinépolis expansion outside of Mexico at http://www.eluniversal.com.mx/columnas/89715.html

Cinépolis has some major multiplex with IMAX 3D etc in Mexico. I am surprised they are trying out the US market.

This is somewhat misleading — La Costa and Del Mar are being remodeled / turned into luxury concepts by Cinépolis.
