Located on the south east corner of Blacks Road and Dally Road. The streets on the site now are called Feature Court, Union Court, and Futon Street.

The soft opening was on 5/9/1961. The site is now a drainage retention area. The exit sign is still there, and one speaker post too.

Also opened with a cartoon(not named), first run nrws and “Drummer man”. Closed in 1o63 afterI-81 cut off the drive-in from Upper Front Street.

The drive-in was surrounded by Dyson Road, Blyth Street, McKinna Road and Barbara Street. The entrance and exit roads were on the Dyson Road side(i think?). The three streets on the site now are Hepburn Road, Bogart Court and Fonda Court.

Opened as a twin drive-in with on screen 1 with “ Horrors of Frankenstein” and “Scars of Dracula” and on screen 2 with “Brewster McCloud” and “The strawberry statement” and a World Championship boxing match(Frazier vs Ali! Direct from ringside, first time in colour).

The drive-in was leased out(by Clarence Patrick(Paddy) Baker?) to Mr Weymorth of Koorda(1960’s or 1970’s or 1980 or 1981?), and then leased by T. WILmot of Merredin. Reopened in 1987 by Suburban Pictures, managed by Steve Martin of Perth.
