Three years after the GCC Northpark East III & IV launched, Raymond Nasher – who created the Northpark Mall across the highway housing the detached GCC Northpark “West” I & II - decided to add to the Northpark East complex. These are the drawings from 1977 showing the expansion. The two tall buildings at the far left were added. So now the GCC III & IV - which had only been obscured by an adjacent building blocking view from U.S. 75 - was now completely blocked from view from Park Lane. With minimal signage, the already challenging-to-find Northpark III&IV became an adventure for the uninitiated who showed up to the Northpark I&II by mistake.
