18-year old pilot Friedel Braun makes a personal appearance at the Tower Theatre where “The Sky Hawk” is playing in 1930. Manager Milton Harmon has some propellers there for effect. Unfortunately, Braun would die in a plane accident in 1935 prior to making a transatlantic flight to Germany.
