The Odin Drive-in was built for Northland Developments. Taken over by City Theatres in 1979. A hardtop cinema was planned to be built on the site in 1985, but it was never built. Taken over by Line Drive-in’s in the 1980’s. Bought out by Hoyts in 1988 and closed by them and sold for 1.34 million dollars(Australian) to raise money for more multiplexs.
