The building with the tall window features is the Holiday Inn which sits on the footprint of the Rialto. Note the church beyond and the cornice detail on the building nearest the camera as in the 1936 street view.
The entrance to the Holiday Inn is round the corner on Higher Bridge Street (follow the left-turn-lane arrow to the right of the Google camera car); hence the anonymous façade we see on St George’s Road.
