I used to go to the Regal Cinema in 1972 to Sat morn show when I was 8. My friends used to knock for me and we would walk through Rayleigh Mount to get there. It was 5p front seat and 7/½ p for back seat.
My Parents moved to Rayleigh in 1970, I was 6 yrs old and had 2 younger brothers, I went to Sat morn shows in 1972 and my Dad took me to see a James Bond double (You only live Twice and Thunderball) I live in Rayleigh again now tho my Parents divorced in ‘79 and Mum lives in Hullbridge & Dad in Chelmsford, love Rayleighs History.
