I found this photo in the 2014 book Route 66 in Illinois (Images of America) by Joe Sonderman and Cheryl Eichar Jett. Its caption said it was “Courtesy of David A. Jackson Collection.” Not my copyright, of course. Uploaded for the scholarly Fair Use of establishing that the Sky View once had a solid screen tower.
