The original chimney advertises the cinema. The chimney was later rebuilt but continued to serve as an advertisement, now remaining an icon of Margate. Also, a large hoarding to the right of entrance steps adjoining Cliff Terrace advertises the ‘Clifton Cinema’ (left of the photo).
