A rare 1920’s vintage Brinker carbon-arc spotlight. Operating these was a challenge - the technician would lift and drop levels to move colored gels in front of the lens, and would have to contually monitor the carbon rods - feeding and aligning them to maintain spark intensity - all the while watching the stage action and listening for cues.
