It’s more than a bit blurry, but this aerial view of April 1933 captures the scale of the great cupola in the ceiling/roof of the auditorium. It also conveys the extent to which the street slopes down from right to left across the entrance façade.

It also looks as though the projection suite was set high, with access to the roof over the entrance block.
