Opening ad for the Roxy Theatre launching with “Flying Devils on Sept. 14, 1933. The theater took over for the Home Theatre which opened in 1924 but had suffered damage in a fire to a neighboring building in December of 1931 and a lawsuit to assess damages that followed in 1932.
