It’s April 6, 1977 and time for the Grand Opening of Eastern Federal Theatre Circuit’s Town & Country 1-2 Theatres. Each 350-seat auditorium is identical and share the automated projection booths. They launch with two great films, “Rocky” and “The Crater Lake Monster.” J. Paul Lewis, the opening manager of the Riverside Theater when it opened in 1939 in downtown was the T&C’s first manager.
