Perth’s Cinema 1 is, to the best of my knowledge, still sitting in mothballs. It’s a shame because of all the 1970s/80s cinemas built with the CBD, it was clearly the finest. This shot shows the Hay Street Mall entrance to City Arcade within which Cinema 1 was located. The film screening when this shot was taken was THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW.
