The Grand Theater opened in 1917 and showed the first talking pictures in De Queen in 1930. Was bought by K.Lee Williams in 1939 who changed its name to Queen Theater. After 1946, with the opening of the Sevier Theater, the Grand was used to show westerns. It closed in the 1960’s.
